Last year Falconer elementary students used Google Hangouts and interviewed Grace Lin. The students enjoyed this book very much and recommended that we read it again with this year's 5th graders. So here we are again.
Purpose: We will pair up with other fifth grade classes from other states to read Where the Mountain Meets the Moon. You will use technology, your reading skills, collaborative discussions, and the book to learn about a little girl's incredible journey. Each day we will predict, learn new words, read, complete a chapter activity, and finally respond to our reading.
Sincerely,
5th grade Teachers
